Marburg virus disease (MVD) is a highly fatal caused by the (MARV) which belongs to family Filoviridae. The has been recently reported from Ghana, an African country, and nearly 15 outbreaks of MVD have in past five decades. Various species bats viz., Rousettus aegyptiacus, Hipposideros caffer, certain Chiroptera act as natural source infection. Pathophysiology reveals severe antiviral suppression due changes gene expression interferon-stimulated (ISG) production hepatic cells.
